Where we can shoot on the Eastside
The Bellevue Botanical Garden works in every season — the perennial borders in summer, the ravine bridge in fall — and it’s the most requested family location on this side of the lake. Kelsey Creek Farm is the one kids talk about afterward: barns, meadows, and animals make it the easiest session a toddler will ever give you. Downtown Bellevue Park pairs the canal and fountain with a skyline edge for something more urban, and Newcastle Beach Park gives you Lake Washington docks and swim-beach light in the evening. For something wilder, the boardwalk through Mercer Slough feels a world away from the city it sits in.

If you work in tech, real estate, law, or anywhere your face is the first thing a client sees, a current, honest headshot matters. I photograph headshots outdoors in natural light or at your office — thirty focused minutes, direction included (nobody knows what to do with their hands; that’s my job), and a small retouched set delivered ready for LinkedIn, your company page, and print.
What a family session is like
We choose a location and a time with good light, then spend about an hour letting your family be itself. I direct gently when it helps and step back when it doesn’t. You’ll get a full online gallery — as many good photos as we can get, you will get.

Do you travel to Kirkland, Redmond, or Issaquah? Yes — anywhere on the Eastside is home ground, no travel fee.
Can we do family photos and a headshot in one session? Absolutely — we’ll carve out ten minutes at the end. It’s the most efficient headshot you’ll ever get.
Indoor options for the rainy months? The Botanical Garden shrugs off drizzle, and in-home sessions are some of my favorites.
